Shakti Pumps (India) Limited is foraying into the Electric Vehicle (EV) segment through its 100% wholly owned subsidiary company Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited (SEVMPL). The subsidiary co. will manufacture BLDC Motors with Controller, Charger, VFD (EV Application) to optimize battery performance in EV automobiles.
SEVMPL was incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act 2013 on December 16, 2021 and will leverage on Shakti group’s 30 years of experience in making motors and 5 years of manufacturing Power Electronics Equipment.
The manufacturing activity of SEVMPL will be carried out at Sector 5, Pithampur, Dist. Dhar (M.P), India with total installed capacity of 1,32,000 (No.’s) each for Induction, BLDC and PMSM motor and controller. The plant will equip with state of art technology along with full-fledged inhouse R&D centre to continue innovation and pace up with current trends.
A commerce graduate from Indore, Mr. Patidar took over the responsibilities of Shakti Pumps from his father in 1986. Since then, his visionary approach and strategic business acumen has made Shakti Pumps a dominant entity with access to over 125 countries across the world and a promising future.

Aged 50 year serves as Director of Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd. and Shakti EV Mobility Private Ltd. Graduate in Business Administration with more than 20 years of experience, engaged in international business development activities exploring and expanding new business opportunities across the world.
Aged 42 year serves as General Manager of Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd. and Executive Director of Shakti EV Mobility Private Ltd. Extensive experience of over 20 years in Electric Motor Pump industry in a career spanning over 2 decades.
Aged 48 year serves as Assistant General Manager of Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd. and Executive Director of Shakti EV Mobility Private Ltd. Over 25 years of experience in management of all aspects of cement plants from conception to final implementation and running of the same.
